The Kenly Chamber of Commerce has a new home! The Chamber has joined the Town staff and is now operating out of the Kenly Town Hall. Even though they have moved, they still offer the same great services. If you want to contact the Chamber, you can still do so at the same phone number they have had - 919-284-5510.

| 2006 Drinking Water Report Now Available |

The Town of Kenly is pleased to make available the 2006 Annual Drinking Water Quality Report. The report covers information about where the Town's water comes from, what it contains, and how it compares to standards set by regulatory agencies.
If you have any questions about the report, please contact Ken Thompson at 919-284-2975. If you would like to learn more about the Town's water system please feel free to attend any of the Town's regularly scheduled Council meetings at Town Hall on the second Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m.

Kenly's third annual Fourth of July Celebration will be held on July 4th from 5:00 - 10:00 pm at KAPARC. There will be food, fun, and music for all ages. Admission is free!
Fireworks will begin at approximately 9:15 pm.

Kenly Town Manager Scott Shelton announced today that acting police chief Josh Gibson has been appointed to serve as the new chief of the Kenly Police Department. The Town is looking forward to Gibson's leadership and involvement in the community in helping to secure a safe environment for all citizens, businesses, and visitors.

| Trash Pickup Time of Year Again! |

It's that time of year again - FREE Trash Pickup. The Town is offering free trash pickup from March 19th through March 30th this year. Please DO NOT put out building materials, construction/demolition materials, hazardous chemicals, paint cans, or tires. The Town will not be able to pick up those items. Otherwise, take this opportunity to do some Spring cleaning and help Kenly look great!!!

The Town will be offering free trash pickup from March 20th through March 31st. For your items to be picked up, they must be placed curbside. The Town will not pickup building materials, hazardous chemicals, or paint cans as part of this service. Please do not include these items in your trash.
