The Kenly Public Library provides modern library resources and services necessary to satisfy the needs of the community.
Library Hours
Monday/Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Tuesday/Thursday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

There are lots of books for you to read at the library.
Obtaining a Library Card
There is no charge for your first library card. The applicant must present a valid North Carolina Driver’s License or North Carolina ID at the time of registration. If the address is not current, a piece of recent mail addressed to the applicant must be presented to show proof of Johnston County residency. Checkout is limited to 2 items for first time users.
Children may obtain library cards, but the signature and identification of the parent or guardian is required.

Kids enjoy being able to work on PC's available for public use at the library.

Books – 10 cents per day
Lost Library Card - $2.00
Non-county Resident Fee - $10.00
Miscellaneous Services
Photocopies – 10 cents per page (8 ˝” x 11”)
Computer printouts – 10 cents per page (8 ˝” x 11”)
Computer/Internet Use Policy
Computers with Internet access are provided as a service to our patrons. Time limit for computer use is 30 minutes if others are waiting. Patrons under the age of 11 must be accompanied by an adult to use the Internet. Patrons 12-15 must have a signed Acceptable Use Agreement from their parent/guardian to use the Internet independently.
Activities
The Town of Kenly Library offers story hours and summer programs. Story hours are held throughout the year. Schedules are posted at the Library.
